One Polk County Sheriff's deputy saved a dog's life and taxpayers' dollars by rescuing a dog from Animal Control and turning him a narcotics detecting K-9.

In an undercover residence in Winter Haven, beginning Thursday, October 16, and through Saturday, October 18, 2008, Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives targeted Solicitors who visited the “Craigslist” website looking for sex. Detectives, in the reverse prostitution sting, arrested 13 in the undercover operation. The school teacher was among the 13.
