 Operation Pop Top Results  


On Tuesday, May 8, 2017, PCSO deputies, along with the assistance of a PCSO Explorer (high school student volunteer), conducted “Operation Pop Top” in an effort to combat the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors in the Davenport area. 13 stores were checked and 12 were in compliance.

"We are consistently encouraged that the vast majority of retailers in our area comply with the laws prohibiting selling alcohol to minors. We thank them for their diligence. Those who do not comply will be held accountable.”  Grady Judd, Sheriff

The following stores were in compliance: 

Circle K Food Store- 45489 US HWY 27 North, Davenport

Circle K Food Store- 101 Polo Park Blvd East, Davenport

1st Infinity Liquor- 114 Polo Park Blvd East, Davenport

Circle K Food Store- 2444 US HWY 27 North, Davenport

Party Liquor Store- 2412 Sand Mine Road, Davenport

La Islita Food Mart- 150 California Blvd, Davenport

Loves Truck Stop- 45000 US HWY 27, Davenport

Marathon- 43804 US HWY 27 North, Davenport

Racetrac- 43250 US HWY 27, Davenport

Sunshine- 44009 US HWY 27, Davenport

Chevron- 44039 US HWY 27, Davenport

7-11- 44249 US HWY 27, Davenport

28-year-old Francisco Torres of Kissimmee, who works at the 7-11 located at 43332 US Hwy 27 South, Davenport was arrested and charged with selling alcohol to a minor.
