Orange County Sheriff's deputies assisted PCSO on Sunday, December 5, 2010, when they located a man wanted for a Lakeland bank robbery.
At 4:52 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010, a black male walked into the BB&T bank located at 6150 South Florida Avenue in Lakeland, went up to a teller, and handed her a note that said he was armed and he wanted cash. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller, the suspect fled the scene in a maroon Honda CRV in the direction of CR 540A.
As a result of media coverage of the robbery, an anonymous tipster recognized the suspect as Quintillian Lott, 9/17/70, and called Heartland Crime Stoppers. Detectives compared photographs from the bank's surveillance system and matched them to Lott. Polk County Sheriff's d
etectives obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Robbery with a Firearm, a first degree felony.
Lott's last known location where he was living at that time was an apartment located at 4322 Sawyer Circle, St. Cloud.
Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrested 40-year-old Quintillian Lott around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2010, after a brief vehicle pursuit. He was safely taken into custody and there were no injuries. He was booked into Orange County Jail.
