The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Memorial was dedicated in January 2011 to honor deputies who have given their lives while keeping us safe and serving the citizens of Polk County. The memorial is located at the entrance to the Sheriff’s Operation Center. The first two bronze statues were unveiled in January 2011 depicting Deputy Matt Williams & K-9 DiOGi, and Sergeant Ronnie Brown. In March 2013, a bronze statue was also unveiled to portray Deputies T.A. Burnham and Waymon D. Allen, who were killed in the 1980s.

This will always be in remembrance to respect and memorialize the ultimate sacrifice of these fallen heroes.
