THE BOARD OF POLK SHERIFF’S CHARITIES HAS AGAIN APPROVED A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM!
UP TO A TOTAL OF $7,500 IN SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED.
To be eligible for the award an applicant must be a graduating senior and be the child and/or dependent of a full-time member of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office who has been employed full-time by the agency for at least one (1) year as of January 1, 2012 OR be a member of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program for at least one (1) school year and also be a graduating senior.
This scholarship program is possible because of the generosity of the members of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, as well as private citizens and businesses supporting our charity.
