| The Chief of Staff
reports directly to the Sheriff and is
second in command of the agency. The Chief of Staff acts as Sheriff in all regards during
the Sheriff's absence. All components under the Office of the Sheriff are
under the command of Chief Gary Hester which includes the Office of Communications, Office of Legal Affairs, Office of Professional Compliance, Office of Strategic Planning, Office of Business Affairs, Law Enforcement, and Detention.
