Be advised that today, May 16th the raccoon was confirmed Positive for RABIES from the State Laboratory.  Please make sure your pets are currently vaccinated for rabies and report any suspicious acting animals to the Polk County Animal Control Section at 863-499-2600.</div>

Unknown suspects have removed personal items from vehicles to include debit cards, golf clubs, video games, medications, GPS Units and other personal items.
