Sheriff's Leadership Council

This one-day training session allows community and business leaders the opportunity to view first-hand the Sheriff’s Office operations. As a participant of this program, you will be introduced to many of the day-to-day operating functions of the agency. Through this program, we hope to create steadfast partnerships that will enhance the quality of life in Polk County. Only when law enforcement and the community combine efforts will there be a unified front fighting the effects of crime in Polk County, as well as in the State of Florida.

The mission of the Sheriff’s Leadership Council is to:

EDUCATE participants about the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the services it provides.
Build AWARENESS for community involvement in crime prevention
Provide INTERACTION with law enforcement to seek crime prevention solutions.
