CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: POLK CITY TRUCK STOP
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-27656

On July 1, 2026, a retail theft occurred at the Polk City Truck Stop located at 1821 Hwy 559 in Polk City. An unknown male suspect entered the truck stop and purchased some items before leaving. He then entered the store a second time where he grabbed a large Buzz Ball alcoholic beverage and then fled in a black Volkswagen SUV without paying.

The suspect, a white male, was wearing a black shirt with pink and blue shorts. The Buzz Ball was valued at $22.99.
