UPDATE: This suspect has been identified as Ariel Perez of Winter Haven and a complaint affidavit has been filed against her.

CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: BROTHERS BEVERAGE OF FORT MEADE
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-30872

On July 26, 2026, just before 3 pm, a female suspect entered Brothers Beverage at 25 South Charleston Avenue in Fort Meade and stole a 750ml bottle of Ole Smokey Tennessee Moonshine and left the store without paying. 

It was white chocolate strawberry flavor, if you'd care to know.

It was also valued at $24.60.
