Guns stolen from vehicles

Area/location : Shepherd & Lunn Road, Lakeland
Message from : Sheriff Grady Judd
News date : Mar 14, 2023
Details :
Hello this is Sheriff Grady Judd. Even though crime is at a 51-year low, last Sunday morning in the area of Shepherd and Lunn Road, we know that thieves hit cars – that’s right, broke into the windows – and stole, among other things, four firearms. Please, please, please, help us get those firearms back, and always remember NEVER leave your firearm in your vehicle. Now, those four guns will be used in criminal activity because felons stole them. We need to recover those guns sooner rather than later. So if you know anything about these burglaries or who might be responsible, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). You can get a cash reward, be totally anonymous, and help us recover the guns before they’re used against an officer or some people in the community. We know that when they steal these firearms, they go to the streets, and on the streets, they’re used to commit further crimes by evil people. Help us solve the crimes. And please remember, never, ever, ever, leave your gun in your car at night. Thank you.
