CRIME: CAR BURGLARY AND THEFT OF A FIREARM
CRIME SCENE: MIKASUKI IN LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-16168
On April 17, 2026. at around 4:30 am, a suspect wearing a hoodie, dark pants, and white sneakers, was seen attempting to burglarize two vehicle in the Mikasuki neighborhood off of South Carter Road (near County Road 540A) in Lakeland.
Later, it was discovered that a car burglary had occurred in the same neighborhood. During that burglary, a firearm was stolen from the vehicle.
