The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft case which also resulted in a fraud case being investigated by Lakeland Police Department.

On March 16th at about 1:10 AM, the victim was in the Combee Beverage Discount store near Lakeland and set her wallet down near the cash register. 
When she left the store, she inadvertently left her wallet behind.

The suspect picked up the wallet and stole it.

Later that day, the suspect went on a shopping spree at Genius Phone Services (Edgewood Drive) and Icon Clothing Store (Kentucky Avenue South). 

The suspect is pictured here wearing the gray Miami Heat hoodie. He is believed to be between 5’6”-5’8” and 160 pounds. He is accompanied by another man who appears to be between 5’10”-6’2” and 200-250 pounds.
