UPDATE:
This case has been solved. The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Rameses Pharell Gotay of Davenport. He was captured after committing an identical crime on September 29th at the same 7-ELEVEn store.
Gotay was arrested and charged with Destroying Evidence (F3), Petit Theft (2-counts, M2), Person under 21 Possessing Alcohol (M2), and Resisting (M1).

POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-39378
On September 21, 2026, a male suspect entered the 7-ELEVEn store at 49599 US 27 in Davenport at around 8:40 pm, opened two alcoholic drinks and poured them into a Styrofoam cup, then left the store without paying for the drinks.
The stolen beverages were 500 ml containers of Beatbox Fruit Punch and Beatbox Blue Razzberry. The total value of the theft was $8.58.
