***UPDATE: APRIL 1, 2020***
Our suspect in this crime has been identified and arrested. She is 44-year-old Danielle Scrima. Kudos to the detective on this case. As he was driving down Hwy 27, he noticed a truck in front of him that looked just like the suspect's truck. As he pulled up beside it, he saw Danielle, and realized she was his suspect. Danielle was arrested and it was found that she has multiple prior theft convictions from New Hampshire. That means her petit theft from WaWa is now a felony.
THE ORIGINAL STORY FOLLOWS:
6:00pm, Thursday, January 30th…a woman walked into the Wawa store (7820 Lake Wilson Road in Davenport), cut in line several times, and ended up walking out of the store with cigarettes and beer, which she didn't pay for.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office would like help identifying this woman.
