On March 7, 1988, 29-year-old Ragel Taylor was found in a canal behind a home at 711 Fish Hatchery Road in Lakeland. His cause of death was acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Taylor was a known drug dealer. His brother was also a homicide victim in the city of Lakeland during the same week.
