On March 31, 1981, 35-year-old Martha Ramsey was found in an orange grove off Little Zion Road in Davenport. She had been sexually assaulted and beaten to death. She was last seen leaving the Winter Haven food stamp office on foot. Ramsey had a history of mental illness.
