The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help with multiple thefts that have occurred countywide from residences and/or boat trailers. The boats that were stolen were recovered without the outboard motors. These thefts have been successful, despite the use of tongue locks on the trailers.

The areas targeted appear to be focused in the Lake Wales, Babson Park, Lake Alfred, Bartow, and Polk City communities.
