Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft that occurred at the El Carpaso Loco store located at 6980 SR 60 West in Mulberry.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the unknown black male seen here entered the store, took a Kaloric brand air fryer off of a shelf, brought it to the employee and told her he was returning it for cash. The employee gave him $40.00 cash, and he left in a black newer-model sedan, possibly a Chevrolet.

This suspect has committed similar type of frauds and thefts at other stores in the Tampa Bay area.
