CRIME: ARMED ROBBERY
CRIME SCENE: SUNOCO, 4033 DUNDEE ROAD, WINTER HAVEN
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-48925

Polk County Sheriff's detectives are looking to identify the armed robbery suspect seen here who robbed the clerk at the Sunoco located at 4033 Dundee Road in Winter Haven.

The suspect first entered the store around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, and asked the clerk for cigarettes. The clerk asked the suspect for identification to prove he was over 21 years old. The suspect looked at his phone for a minute, then left. Fifteen minutes later, the suspect re-entered the store with his face covered, and brandished a large knife, demanding money and cigarettes from the clerk. He was last seen running south down Hammond Drive.
