CRIME: ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
CRIME SCENE: MARATHON STORE - 628 WABASH AVENUE, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #24-12716

On March 26th at about 9 PM, a man entered the Marathon store on Wabash Avenue in Lakeland and demanded that the clerk open the register. 

The clerk refused. 

The man put his hand in his pocket and again demanded that the clerk open the register.
The clerk again refused and called 911.

The suspect fled before deputies arrived.

A PCSO detective is now trying to identify the man seen here.
