CRIME: PETIT THEFT
CRIME SCENE: 2790 US HWY 92 EAST, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-30419

Around 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the two suspects seen here went into the Family Dollar store located at 2790 US Hwy 92 East in Lakeland. While one suspect (in the black shirt) stood at the counter off and on talking with the clerk, the other suspect (in the straw hat) removed a portable speaker from its box, and headphones.

The clerk confronted the suspects, yet they denied taking the items, although their empty boxes were left behind. The clerk demanded that both suspects leave the store.
