CRIME: PETIT THEFT
CRIME SCENE: MID FLORIDA BANK AT 325 SR 540 WEST, WINTER HAVEN
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-48904

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a petit theft that occurred on December 1st at the Mid Florida bank drive-thru on State Road 540 West in Winter Haven. 

The victim was performing a transaction in the drive thru, when her vehicle suddenly began to act up, so she pulled her car out of the drive-thru in a panic.

During the transaction, the teller had sent the victim's ID and $217 in cash through the pneumatic tube, but when the victim walked back to the drive-thru, the cylinder was empty.

The PCSO detective investigating this case subpoenaed the bank and just recently obtained security video  that shows a woman in a black or gray 2014 Kia K5. The detective would like this woman identified so he can make contact with her and speak to her about this incident. The woman was behind the victim's car and left the bank without making a transaction.
