The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a retail theft from the Family Dollar store (1090 Pipkin Road West) in Lakeland, which occurred on August 13th at about 9:08 am.
Detectives are hoping someone might recognize the suspect in these photos. 

The suspect has been seen in the store previously, but his identity is unknown.  He is described as a black male, about 5'10" and 175 pounds. 

He is accused of taking three bottles of 72-count Tide Pods. 

Tide Pods (along with items such as diapers and baby food) are among the items that are  most often stolen from stores, then resold at flea markets, garage sales, and online.
