CRIME: RETAIL THEFT 
CRIME SCENE: DOLLAR GENERAL, 3602 CYPRESS GARDENS BLVD, WINTER HAVEN
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-27682

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Dollar General store at 3602 Cypress Gardens Rd SE in Winter Haven on Wednesday, July 5th at about 2:00 p.m.

The black male suspect seen here, wearing a white tank top, a NY Yankees ballcap, and with visible tattoos, shopped for food and drinks and then used the self-checkout, but only scanned one package of hot dogs. He placed all of the other items (totalling over $58.00) into bags and then left the store without paying for them.
