CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: TARGET AT POSNER PARK, DAVENPORT
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #24-6874

Around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, loss prevention officers at Target in Posner Park (Davenport) contacted the Sheriff's Office regarding the retail theft of a GoTrax scooter valued at $580.00. The suspect is seen in video surveillance (click here) taking the scooter out of the store in a shopping cart. Loss prevention officers observed him on video surveillance remove the barcode sticker from a WHL scooter valued at $80.00, and place it on the more expensive one. The suspect then used the self-checkout.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing gray pants, a gray and white shirt, red and white shoes, a yellow and white hat, and sunglasses.
