The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of over $2,000 worth of over-the-counter medication from the CVS located at 6105 US Hwy 98 North in Lakeland.

Around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the unknown white male suspect seen here went up and down the aisles, putting various types of medication into a trash bag, and then left the store. The types of medication the suspect stole ranged from acid reflux meds (Nexium, Prilosec) to allergy meds (Claritin, Xyzal, Zyrtec). The suspect fled north in what is described as a white Toyota four-door car.
