Thanks to the woman who recognized this suspect and reported his whereabouts to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded immediately and arrested 32-year-old Jason Staples. This man has a criminal history, and it so happens he is also suspected of several other crimes in this area of north Lakeland.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office asks for your help in identifying this man in relation to a retail theft investigation.

The theft occurred a Tony's Liquor Store (4009 Knights Station Road) in Lakeland.

The suspect was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
