CRIME: BURGLARY
CRIME SCENE: WINDSOR ISLAND RESORT, DAVENPORT
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-20031

The Northeast District General Crimes Unit is currently investigating a trend of vehicle and home burglaries in the Windsor Island Resort subdivision in Davenport. 

Between April 26th and May 9th, unknown suspect(s) entered two separate unlocked cars and removed credit and debit cards, an iPad (10th gen), and a pair of AirPods Pro 3. The suspect(s) also entered two vacation rentals through the rear sliding glass doors and removed two envelopes with a total of $900.00 cash inside and three purses with cash, credit/debit cards, and identifications. One of the residences was occupied at the time of the burglary. 

It was learned during the investigation that some of the victims’ cards were used at a Walmart in Daytona Beach and Surveillance video from the Walmart showed one unknown black male entering the store and making purchases. Click here for the video.
